Qirui inspects the performance of saw chain products
02 June 2021Qirui inspects the performance of saw chain products
Logging literally means cutting down trees with tools. In our company, in order to test the performance of our products, our experimenters have to carry out logging experiments for more than ten hours. The logging test is not to start the chain saw to cut the wood. He has certain self-requirements:
1. Choose the length of the guide plate and wood specifications;
2. The wood should be straight and without scars as much as possible;
3. The wood should be cork;
4. Clean the guide plate chain groove, especially the position of the oil filling hole, to ensure that the lubricating oil can smoothly enter the guide plate chain groove;
5. Ensure stable force or gravity when cutting chips.
Qi Rui logging test
At the end of June this year, our company conducted a logging test certification based on the latest technical requirements. Certification content: Test the sharpness retention period of the saw chain, that is, the cumulative sawing time when the cutting efficiency of a saw chain is reduced to 40% of the newly activated state after the saw chain is assembled. As a certification test, we must have a rigorous and serious test attitude, and we must not have a fluke, lazy, or fraudulent mentality. In order to test the authenticity and reliability, the company uses full-process video to ensure its authenticity, and we also test and record its logging and cutting efficiency every 15 minutes.
Everyone knows that the weather at the end of June is relatively hot, and I sweat profusely after a little activity. Our experimenters must wear protective helmets, heavy protective clothing, and carry a chain saw of about 7 kilograms, and work continuously for more than ten hours. After the experimenter worked for half an hour, the hand holding the chain saw felt that the weight of the chain saw was slowly increasing, which greatly increased the physical energy consumption of the experimenter. At the same time, the resistance of the saw chain during the logging process will cause the chain saw to shake constantly. At this time, in order to maintain the stability of the chain saw, the experimenter gritted his teeth and insisted on taking the experiment seriously. The sawdust flying in the process of logging keeps flying to the gap of the clothes, and the sweat flowing on the body will make the body stick to the sawdust. The experimenter has to endure the discomfort caused by sawdust penetrating into the clothes and the burning of the heat when the body can constantly consume it. This kind of spirit and work attitude is worth learning. Let us pay tribute to the experimenter: you have worked hard!

Chain saw guide bar, also known as chain plate and saw plate, is an integral part of the chain saw transmission accessories, mainly to make the chain saw chain drive in a straight line to complete the cutting operation of the chain saw. The general material is generally 50 manganese steel or 65 manganese steel, preferably 65 manganese steel, which has better durability.
Structure and classification of chain saw guide bar. The guide bar is a very important part of the chain saw. In order to extend the service life of the chain saw, the chain saw guide bar should be maintained after the work is completed. The normal use and maintenance of the chain saw guide bar should ensure sufficient chain oil during the work, so that the chain saw is underneath. It can continue to maintain good working conditions during the next work. The structure, shape and size of the guide bar not only affect the friction loss between the saw chain and the guide bar, but also have a direct impact on the power consumption of sawing wood and the quality of sawing.
Understand the four chain saw guide types. It is well known that the needs of loggers are as diverse as the terrain and environment in which they work. Understanding the different types of chain saw guides and choosing the correct saw chain guide can make them better and faster to complete their work.
